Make sure you keep an eye on your outdrive system. The easy check for you is to check the rubber boots. You can do this by trimming your outdrive up and looking at the two boots. One is the drive boot and the other is the exhaust boot. Check the shift cable small rubber  boot as well. See the picture of the assembly and what a boot in need of repair looks like.
